thanks, but so far most of the stuff we've done has been at such a small scale. i really like your projects. they are all super crazy concepts. what programs do you use to make your boards and stuff? and what year are you now?
:iconesco1984:
thanks im a third year. i use illustrator to make the boards and diagrams, and i use autoCAD for plans, elevations, and sections. Im learning revit right now, so im trying to figure out that program. for 3d models i use sketch up and some rhino. what year are you in?

im a third year. but last year was the first year that we were allowed to use the laser cutter for our designs. We actually skipped autoCAD and went straight to revit, so i know how to use that pretty well. I use everything you do except for rhino. i think its just that our projects never have a large site, and our program is so specific that we dont do some of the crazy concepts you guys do.

yeah your probably right, but i also think it has alot to do with the instructor, my previous instructors like alot of organic and complex concepts. but right now where doing a small scale house project, only 600sqft..and the instructor i have hates angles and curves, lol, he likes very simple architecture. so its going to be interesting this quarter lol.
